Morada Inn - Near Garden Grove Park

I heard the woman at the front desk in glasses laughing over the walkie-talkie about disabled people, then threatening to call the police and kick people out just to spite them. Ridiculous. The owner should be ashamed. The front office staff are terrible, and management acts entitled. Someone needs to get in there and take charge.

Basic accommodations, but for the price I’d give it five stars. Free car charging is a nice extra. They’ve got two chargers, one Tesla and one J1772.

My feet were black, so the place isn’t the cleanest. Still, the white woman at the front was pretty cool. I drove here from Texas, checked in, and was sitting in my car smoking because some of the rooms are non-smoking. The manager knocked and asked if I was even supposed to be there, even though my car had Texas plates and I’d just checked in. That was one problem. The other was that checkout is at 11, and they wouldn’t honor a rebooking at around 11:20. If you’re not up early, don’t stay here, because you can’t pay again for the room you need just ten minutes after 11. This hotel is trying to be something it isn’t. If it were cleaner, I’d understand where they’re coming from, but it’s like a Motel 6 telling you how to behave.

I got great help whenever I needed it, no questions asked, so the service was four-star for me. The room itself was run down and didn’t match the photos, or the room I’d requested. I’m really short, and even the showerhead was below my height. Never had that happen before, lol. Do your research.
