I only stopped in for lunch at the Canal House, I didn't stay here. The buffet was clean and fresh, with a wide selection that included soup and dessert. The pudding mixed with whipped cream sounds like an odd combination, but I loved it. Give it a try!

The staff were the nicest we've met so far. They answered our questions and were always helpful, with a smile. We were impressed by how clean everything was, from the restaurant and arcade to the bathrooms, bathhouses, and store. Even the fish house smelled like lemon pine sol 😱. There are individual slips for your water toys, and plenty of accommodation options. This was our fifth year visiting the Cass Lake area, and it took us five years to make it to this resort. The wait was worth it. We'd recommend staying here. Thanks for the memories of our favorite lake!

The giant sandy beach has shallow water, and there's an indoor pool with a sauna and jacuzzi. The place is clean, and the kids and adults enjoyed the rec room with its pool table, ping pong, football, pinball, crane machines, and more. The cabin was spacious and nice, with four bedrooms, a big kitchen and dining area, plus a family room with a fireplace and TV. Everything seemed to run like a Swiss watch. We've camped at stoney point for years with our daughter, two early teen grandchildren, and my wife, but after selling our campers, we rented a cabin. It's by far the nicest resort we've stayed at. The on-site restaurant and small bar are great. Over the years we've tried a wide variety of food, and it's all been very good, so you won't need to drive elsewhere for a meal, unless you come on Monday or Tuesday when it's closed. Happy hour has good deals on food and drinks, and the store has really good ice-cream cones. We bring our own boat, and the dockage and channel are great. If fishing isn't your thing, Walker, bemidji, and a casino I've never been to are a short drive away. Benson's in walker has great pizza and the coldest tap beer I've ever had. We'll keep coming here for our vacations.

The beach and swimming area were a welcome break during our stay, and the kids had a little park to play in. Our group had a great camping trip. Our RV site was near the pool, which costs extra, and the bath house. Some spots are pretty tight, though they have larger pull-through sites too. The gift shop and store had lots of clothes and souvenirs, and it's connected to the restaurant.
