Econo Lodge Castro Valley I-580

I spent a week here by myself and really liked the experience. The room was clean and housekeeping was provided. The staff were welcoming and very nice, and the motel is close to Safeway plaza, which suited me. It's a nice place for the price, and I'll definitely come back.

The room was quiet and well looked after, and the management was helpful and welcoming when I checked in. It's a short drive to the BART station, so it worked well as a base for exploring the Bay Area. I'll stay here again.

This place was disgusting and badly run down. The inside was filthy, the walls were black, the doors were dirty, and things were broken. I had to clean the room myself, and it was cleaner when I left than when I arrived. We booked a few nights, but housekeeping would bang on the door, force her way in, and look around. She was rude. I didn't get my deposit back because she said I'd dirtied the bedsheets. She went around like she had a white glove, even though the room had been disgusting when we checked in. The staff were rude and seemed money hungry. I wouldn't recommend it. It's gross and rundown, but hey.

The rooms were very clean, the manager was good, and the location was nice. I'd definitely visit again.
