The owners were incredibly kind and accommodating. My daughter and I were in town for a hockey tournament, and because our game schedule ran late, we didn't arrive until after 11:00 PM. I called ahead, and Scott left instructions for us. The food was wonderful too, such a nice change from standard hotel fare. I'll definitely come back when I'm visiting Cedar City. I was unsure about the amount of ornamentation in the room photos while booking since I lean minimalist, but now I understand why people rave about this B&B. The whole house was charming, and I never felt overwhelmed by all there was to see. Looking at the keepsakes they collected was fun, and the place was unbelievably clean. How do they keep that many treasures dusted? I was blown away.

The owners were some of the nicest people we've met, and breakfast the next morning was delicious, home-style and comforting. After a stressful night, the place felt warm and welcoming. The house was so cozy, like staying at your grandma's in the best way, and getting in after hours was easy. We found Big Yellow Inn at the last minute on our drive home from Disneyland. The weather turned late at night, and our family's safety came first. Even though we booked around 8 PM, the owners were incredibly kind and accommodating. They turned a stressful situation into a memorable, comforting stay. Highly recommend if you're after a cozy, charming place with genuine hospitality.

It's set in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood but still an easy walk to the university and downtown Cedar City, which made the location feel just right. Breakfast was hearty, delicious, and clearly made with care. The hosts were welcoming and attentive, and made us feel like family friends rather than guests. We spent the weekend at Big Yellow Inn and loved it. This hidden gem is a stunning historic mansion, full of charm and great for photos. Inside, it feels cozy and inviting, with beautiful antiques and thoughtful touches in every room. If you'd rather stay somewhere with character and soul than in a cookie-cutter hotel, this feels like a home away from home.

The plants and pond outside were a lovely touch, and breakfast was delicious. We loved the decor and the comfortable feel throughout, and felt at home as soon as we arrived. The inn's owners especially impressed us. They were friendly and easy to talk to, and gave us great tips about local entertainment for the night we stayed. It's only two blocks from the Shakespearean Festival, with lots of places to eat nearby. We'd love to stay again.

Some family members stayed here when I was in Cedar City for the Shakespeare festival in 2025. I got to take a brief tour and was really impressed. It looks old from the outside, though it was built in 2000. The couple who own it are friendly, and my family said the service was great. I'll stay there next year if they haven't sold out again!
