Knights Inn Center Valley

The room was filthy and loud, there were bugs, the towels were nasty, and the bed sagged badly in the middle. The key coder didn’t work, so each time I went out I had to get the desk attendant to let me back in, usually after a 15-20 minute wait. On checkout morning, I shut the door while loading my truck to keep the room secure. After two trips, it took 1 hour and 45 minutes to get back in for the second one, and I was late dropping off my freight. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

The whole building smelled like an ashtray, even though it’s supposed to be non-smoking. Half the night there was loud talking, music, and doors opening and closing, and I saw a roach in the bathroom. It felt like living in a college dorm, which makes sense since people apparently stay here long term. There were still command hooks on the wall, chipped bathroom tiles and paint, and both beds sagged. This place is a dump and should be demolished. Do not stay at this motel.

I never felt safe here. Every night I heard what sounded like someone walking the corridor and testing door handles, and the thin walls let through a crying child, snoring, and people fighting. Even with the chain and deadbolt on, I was uneasy. The room was tiny and bare, with hard beds and springs poking through. The plastic-covered beds were unbearably warm, and the blankets didn’t help me stay cool. The tub didn’t look recently cleaned, although the shower had hot water. The AC could cool the room, but it was loud and didn’t make the bed any more comfortable. It’s a cheap stay, but I’d only use it for a couple of hours, not an overnight visit.

At Knights inn, the rooms were messy and there was no room service to speak of. The receptionists weren’t helpful, and the staff were rude. I felt like I wasn’t a priority from the moment I arrived, and the whole stay was horrible. The location also made it hard to explore without driving everywhere. I can’t wait to leave and won’t be back. I don’t recommend it, and the place probably has bugs.
