Hampton Inn & Suites Madison-West

The staff were very friendly, and the location worked well for getting to Madison's outskirts. But the rooms are very dated, and ours was worn enough that some furniture seemed close to falling apart. The bathroom badly needed a refresh. Even the toilet seat had big chips and gouges, an easy and inexpensive thing to replace. The hotel was very clean otherwise. It's an okay place if you can get a rate under $160 a night.

The staff were kind and attentive, and even looked for something I'd accidentally left behind. Everything was spotless, including the lobby, room, and dining area, and everything was well stocked. Top-notch accommodations. I'll definitely stay again. I appreciate all of you, thank you.

Getting here off the interstate was easy, and the rooms were clean with friendly staff. The pool was cool for the kids, with zero-entry wheelchair access, a roped-off kids' area, and a kiddie slide. Breakfast was okay. No yogurt or muffins, but there was bread, cold cereal, oatmeal, sausage, diced potatoes, and eggs.

We came for the Midwest Horse Fair and the rodeo over the weekend. It's a great hotel for kids, with a Waterpark area, and the rooms were reasonably priced. The staff were helpful too. The pool area gets very loud, though, and the floor is slippery.
