The room had all the equipment I needed for a two-week stay, and the staff were friendly. The air conditioner sits close to the bed, so its noise was a bit bothersome.

The kitchen was well equipped, the bed was comfortable and medium firm, and the staff were nice. The rooms were clean and mostly well kept, though I found candy and food left under the bed by previous guests, so they could use a deeper clean now and then. The toilet in our first room didn’t work when we arrived. We’d asked for a room change from the start, but getting the repair and then moving rooms was slow and awkward, even though staff knew we were on a tight schedule. Housekeeping also needs to pay better attention to the do not disturb magnets displayed on doors. Still, it could work well for either a short or long stay.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and I felt at home during my stay. My studio had a kitchen, living room and bedroom in one layout, plus a separate bathroom alcove. I liked that the sink and closet area were apart from the shower and toilet behind a door. The rooms were clean, nice, and fairly up to date. Laundry was free during the month I stayed, though staff said the machines would be switching to a card system. Breakfast was adequate, nothing special, but it was enough before heading to the office each morning. For a longer visit, I’d choose this over a standard single-room hotel.

This has become a home away from home for us. I’ve stayed several times and we’ve never had a bad experience. The rooms have been freshly renovated, and I especially enjoyed having a fireplace. It’s close to shopping, work, and my favorite, forest park. Thanks to the staff and management for looking after us.
