The rooms were really cute and clean, and the river view was amazing. The owners were friendly, and I liked using a regular key instead of a card. My mother and I had driven all night, but after checking with the office since it closes at 10 pm, we were able to check in at 1 am. There was a small pet deposit for her three Yorkies. Coffee and grab-and-go breakfast were still available when we checked out at 10. I’d absolutely recommend it as a road trip stop or a date night if you’re nearby. ❤️

The staff were kind and helpful, and the simple, comfortable rooms made for a good night’s sleep, though they’re a little dated. We woke to the sunrise and waves along the Missouri River. A Bridge View Inn is a quiet, affordable place right by the river in Chamberlain, South Dakota. Sometimes the simple things are the best.

The front desk staff were very friendly. We travel with our dog, and while pets are welcome, there isn’t a place to exercise a dog. The rooms are small. I’m sure this was a wonderful motel in its day, and it seems like a great fit for hunters and fishermen, though I’m less sure about a family vacation.

Waking up right by the river was the best part, with such a pretty view in the morning. It’s a simple, clean room, nothing fancy like the Ritz. There’s coffee and free breakfast snacks in the office, plus a fridge in the room. Check-in and check-out were easy.

The owners were super friendly, and their two dogs were lovely too. Our room was clean, with fresh paint and nice new tile in the shower. I’ll definitely stay here again when I’m not camping.
