The front desk service was awful. I arrived with my two kids before we were due to go to a homeless shelter the next day. I asked for a first-floor room because I had five items to carry, but the woman said there were no non-smoking rooms on that floor. There’s no elevator or luggage carts, either. This place didn’t feel family friendly or accessible for people with disabilities. The next day, our room at the shelter wasn’t ready, so I asked to check out at noon. They wanted $30 for an extra hour and were knocking on my door to hurry me along. When I asked a worker to help with my things since there were no carts, he rudely refused and told me to get everything outside quickly. The hotel was empty, too. I should have paid another $20 to stay at the greentree in channelview, where the customer service is amazing.

For our family of five, the room was reasonably priced, and the check-in process was quick and easy. I got the room I booked. Everything else looked clean, but the floor hadn’t been mopped. It was swept, with no debris, though I could see and feel it still needed a proper wash. A very budget-friendly stay.
