Homewood Suites by Hilton Charleston Historic District

The staff made the stay, with Ashley, Jacob, Rocky, the gentleman who brought our car up today (1/6) to load it, and the young lady at the front desk on the evening of 1/5 all being especially welcoming and helpful. They shared information and went above and beyond, and the breakfast staff were friendly as well. The rooms were huge and clean. The hotel was close to King Street and the Charleston museum, and about a 20 minute walk from the battery and rainbow row. We had an excellent stay and would definitely return.

There were plenty of restaurants nearby, and for a nightcap we went to one of the best wine bars we all thought, blum coffee and wine bar on meeting street in downtown. Their private lot was full, so we parked nearby. They had the best bottle prices in the entire downtown area, and the wine by the glass was very inexpensive while still being high quality. We stopped in for coffee the next morning too, since they open at seven a m, and the gingerbread cappuccino was amazing. We loved how convenient everything around Homewood Suites by hilton was. My family and I couldn’t ask for much more: comfortable beds, clean rooms, and a superb location.

We came for a wedding, and the stay went smoothly from the beginning. Raymond and Zhane deserve special mention for being helpful, professional, and making us feel valued. Their service made the visit enjoyable. We’d gladly come back.

The setup worked well for both relaxing and working, with a full kitchen and a spot for a computer. The rooms were very nice and the beds comfortable. The bathroom separates the shower and toilet from the sink and mirror. It’s easy to walk to restaurants, and there’s valet parking along with nearby metered parking.
