TownePlace Suites by Marriott Charlotte LoSo Airport

Our rooms were clean and comfortable, and worked well for our children, who are 6 months and 3 years old. I think the rooms have been renovated recently and the hotel is under new management. Both shuttle drivers were friendly and drove safely. We were stuck overnight after missing a connection. At the front desk, Taje was lovely, attentive, and helpful, and made sure we were comfortable despite the circumstances. Breakfast was included, and the staff there were cheerful, chatty, and bright. I have so many good things to say about everyone at this hotel.

I mainly wanted to let the owners and Marriott know what a great team they have on the desk and shuttle tonight. My airline arranged the room after rescheduling my international flight for the next day. I arrived around 11 p.m. with a lot of other travelers in the same boat. The shuttle driver was great, even while making repeated trips. At check-in, the phone rang five times while the woman was helping me, and four calls were questions about the shuttle. She stayed polite and professional, calmly handling the calls even when some people seemed irate, and kept up a positive attitude we needed. The gentleman working alongside her was just as good. The room is nice and well maintained, though I’ll only be here about four hours. I can't really judge the location, four miles from the airport, since I arrived in the dark and will leave in the dark.

After my flight was delayed, I stayed at the TPS LoSo Charlotte Airport and was really grateful for the staff. The room on the 3rd floor was warm and very clean, just what I needed after a long day of travel. Check-in went smoothly, even though many other guests had also been stranded. The front desk team stayed calm, collected, and incredibly polite through the chaos. I got picked up at the airport right away, and the next morning the breakfast was hot and well stocked. The attendant was friendly and kept everything replenished. From the clean hotel to the kind staff, I’d recommend staying here 1000%. Ten out of ten!

Tonya at the breakfast bar was the best part of our stay for our son's regional championship. Every morning she went out of her way to look after us. Her kindness and attention made us feel welcome and supported, and turned an otherwise average stay into a great one. Hotels need more people like her. The room had a couple of issues: the bathroom exhaust fan didn't work, and the living room AC wasn't cooling. Still, it was clean and comfortable enough for what we needed. We left with a wonderful experience thanks to Tonya.
