Holiday Inn Express & Suites Charlotte Airport by IHG

The airport is really close, and the front desk team were welcoming and professional. The lobby was nice too, with coffee and tea available around the clock. The room was the problem: it was worn and not very clean, with stains on the walls, sofa, and carpet, holes in the curtains, and tired beds and furniture. The bathroom didn't seem clean either. Parking costs $10 a night. This is one of the worst IHG hotels I've stayed at so far.

The room was spacious and modern, with a comfortable bed, good water pressure, and A/C that worked perfectly. It was quiet at night, and the place felt clean and well kept. Breakfast had plenty of choices, all stocked and fresh. Parking was convenient, and there are food options nearby, with the airport easy to reach. Check-in was quick, and the staff were friendly and professional. I'd definitely stay again.

James at the front desk really went out of his way for me and my son. I'd forgotten to add a crib to the reservation, but he got one brought to the room along with extra blankets. Check-in was one of the smoothest I've had, and the whole team gave us great service.

The airport shuttle and nearby location made our early flight easy to manage, and the hotel worked well for resting before we flew out. Check-in was easy, thanks to Monique, who was cheerful and friendly. I also liked the airport-themed decor. We could hear people walking around on the floor above, which made it harder to get the quiet we wanted. The bathroom needs some work too: broken tiles by the entrance made the door difficult to close, and the bathtub was visibly worn and damaged. For a short airport stay, the hotel is convenient and functional, though some maintenance and updates would improve it.
