Rock City is an easy walk from the Inn, which was a great bonus. My wife and I spent a few days at this charming bed and breakfast, and it made for a lovely getaway. The whole property feels cozy and welcoming, and everyone on staff was genuinely kind from arrival through checkout. It was true southern hospitality. Our room was clean and well maintained, and you can tell the staff take pride in looking after the place.

We planned a Christmas getaway, and there were some real positives: breakfast was delicious, service was top notch, there’s an EV charger, and Rock City is walkable. But the whirlpool tub sent black specks into the water, and it didn’t seem to have been cleaned. It also needs caulk around it. The grounds are nice, though they need more care, and there were lots of spiders and cobwebs above our room entrance. We could also hear the people next door. The place needs some TLC to justify the price. Good luck.

The mountain drive up was breathtaking, and Rock City was just a short walk away. We also had vouchers for it through the "Lookout Luncheon" add-on, which we were glad we chose. We were here for our honeymoon and had a wonderful time. Breakfast was delicious every morning, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean with towels refreshed regularly. The afternoon and evening snacks were a lovely touch, and Starbucks was within walking distance too. We’d recommend this place in a heartbeat!

The patio and fire pit were lovely, and the midday and evening refreshments were a nice treat. We chose Chanticleer for our 48th Anniversary after reading reviews, since we didn’t have a personal recommendation. The staff were excellent and friendly. Breakfast was limited, but there were alternatives and we found options we liked. Our room, Rm 10, was clean and cozy. The shower door didn’t seal properly, leaving the shower carpet soaked and unpleasant underfoot. An outdoor handrail on the wall would also make going up and down more comfortable. Just a few small fixes would have made the stay perfect.

Such a cute, beautiful place, and very peaceful and relaxing. The front desk lady, I think her name was Hailey, with pretty red hair, was so friendly and helpful and showed us around. Our adorable room had a coffee nook and robes to wear. There was outdoor seating where we could just enjoy the view, and lots of great places were within walking distance. We played checkers, and there was coffee all the time, plus free cookies and crackers with this cream that was delicious. They also had cute, tasty ice creams and a very adorable gift section. Breakfast was free with the stay and absolutely delicious. My husband got apple cinnamon French toast and I had eggs and maple sausage, both delicious. The manager served us, and a girl cooked the whole thing. We’ll absolutely stay here again and again.
