Chattanooga Marriott Downtown

Checkout put a cold end to what was otherwise a pleasant stay. I’d been told parking would be a discounted $18 conference rate, but that wasn’t on my final bill. When I asked, Ms.Jae seemed exasperated and said she’d been trying to waive the fee, but because I kept asking, she decided to charge it after all. It was a confusing, bizarre exchange. Earlier, Taylor at the front desk had been fantastic, staying patient and polite with a line of six during the conference rush. I was here for one night in March 2026 for a conference. The room was clean, though the shower was quite narrow, less than 3 feet wide.

The rooms were spacious, spotless, and well appointed, and the employees all seemed ready to make you feel welcome. Everything came together in a way I rarely experience, even though I travel often. Kudos to the Chatt Marriott staff. This was as perfect a stay as I’ve had in four decades on the road. Whether you’re visiting for work or to see this great town, you won’t find a hotel that tries harder and does a better job.

I was impressed by my comfortable room and the hotel amenities, even though my stay was brief and for work. I ended up here because a winter storm kept me from commuting, and the staff kindly gave me a place to stay safely. On my last evening, my car battery died. Katie at the front desk got Jordan to help jump-start it despite the freezing weather. I’m very grateful for their kindness and the hotel staff’s dedication to hospitality. If I’m in Chattanooga, TN, again, I’d choose this Marriott property. Katie and Jordan’s outstanding service really set it apart.

The location wasn’t ideal for me, but it worked out. We had a really nice Valentine’s Day weekend, with incredible staff, a good breakfast, and okay parking. It’s a nice hotel.
