The staff were so friendly and helpful, even pointing us toward dinner and the hospital for my procedure early the next morning. They offered a wake-up call, though we had our phones and didn’t need anyone up early just to call us. Our room was spotless and smelled wonderful, and the bed was really comfortable. I also loved that the whole hotel is smoke-free. If we need an overnight stay again, we’ll definitely choose Spark of Hilton. Best hotel we’ve stayed in.

Andy at the front desk has made every work trip here better. He’s always been great, remembers my name, and pays attention to the little details. The rest of the staff are just as helpful and nice, and the service has been impeccable every time I’ve stayed. The rooms are clean, the price is reasonable, and it’s handy for downtown. I’ll keep choosing this hotel when I’m in Chattanooga.

I’ve never had this problem with IHG, Marriott, or other hotel brands. They have a straightforward government rate that follows the per diem. Here, the contractor rate looked as if it would match the government per diem, but one night ended up far above it. I spent hours trying to reach the manager to sort it out, and for months my calls were dodged. The customer help line didn’t help either, and backed the hotel’s use of that rate. I had to pay my company out of pocket. The rooms weren’t great and the location felt sketchy, but the service and billing issue were the real problem. This felt predatory. Government employees, I’d strongly urge you to look elsewhere, possibly at another brand. Save yourself the hassle.

Getting around was easy, with the interstate right nearby and downtown only minutes away. There was plenty of parking, and the hotel was clean throughout. The breakfast was just okay, but it was good to have it included, and the coffee was a highlight: hot, fresh, and available all day. The staff were welcoming and very friendly, too. I had a great, comfortable stay.

The room was clean and laid out well, with lots of outlets by the bed. Parking and breakfast were free, and the price felt fair. It’s conveniently located for things to do in downtown Chattanooga. The renovation seems recent, but the work wasn’t done very well. There’s fresh paint, though the workmanship is rough. I was also woken by someone going in and out loudly and letting their door slam.
