Motel 6 Chattanooga, TN - Downtown

Tiffany at the front desk is the reason I’ll be back. She was warm and kind, and took time to explain how everything at the hotel worked so I felt comfortable right away. The room was clean and everything was accommodating. I also liked the entrance and snack area, and the whole place felt relaxed, almost like home. I had a great stay at Motel 6, and Tiffany gets five stars from me.

Car trouble left me looking for the closest place off the interstate, so I stayed here. The room felt run down and dirty. There were roaches, the bathtub was stained and unclean, and the comforter had cigarette burns. I don’t usually write negative reviews, but this location needs serious attention. The property needs a full refresh and better housekeeping standards.

I had a lot of luggage and was struggling to get everything into the building when Tiffany noticed and offered to help. She was so polite and nice. I’ve never been to a motel with such decent, sweet people working there. Later that night I came downstairs because there was a problem with my receipt. Tiffany had no issue helping me sort it out however she could. Thanks for being so helpful and polite, Tiffany. You made my first night out on my own much more bear bearable!

Roaches were the worst part, and I’ve stayed in cheap hotels before without ever seeing them. When we reported it, the staff didn’t seem surprised and handed us some “roach spray” with bleach written on the bottle. The shower had a layer of black on it, the comforter was full of holes, and the sheets were stained. This is the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever been to. You really do get what you pay for here. Save your money and stay somewhere else.
