Moxy Chattanooga Downtown

We had a fun, happy stay, with a great gathering space and staff who gave us good recommendations for places to eat nearby. The hotel smelled fresh and clean, and our room was exceptionally clean too. The shower was fantastic, with good water pressure. Service was excellent from the beginning to the end. It’s a fantastic spot for a quick getaway. We’ll definitely return, and I highly recommend it.

It’s 3:45 a.m. as I write this, and I’ve been awake since 1 because of a very loud bar or club somewhere on the property. I came to Chattanooga to take my state boards at 6 a.m., an exam I paid over $200 for, so this is a terrible night for noise. I stayed at the Moxy a couple of years ago and liked the atmosphere, but this time has been completely different. I can’t recommend it if you need any rest. For the price, I’d at least expect a refrigerator to keep a drink cold. This “hotel” is really only providing a bed and shower, without the usual hotel amenities.

Having my daughter’s baby shower here turned into such a lovely memory, and everyone had a great time. Moxy Chattanooga always makes me feel like family. It’s my favorite place to hang out in Chattanooga!

The staff were mostly fine, though one or two people didn’t seem to listen to what I was saying. There’s a hotel bar, but the drinks were weak and overpriced. Since there’s no refrigerator or desk in the rooms, it wasn’t a good fit for my business stay. I planned to stay a few more days, but checked out and went to the nearby laquinta.
