The only good thing I can say is that our room had no bugs. We were put on the fourth floor, above the third floor where the smokers are, but people living here smoke in the hallways too, so that didn’t help. The place is gross, and the elevator needs maintenance. I’m sure it’s not up to code. If you stay here, just know it’s like the Section 8 housing of hotels.

The room I was shown had holes in the walls, mold on the refrigerator and bathroom sink, and stained bed linens. I wasn’t going to stay there, so I went back down in the sketchy elevator and told the staff member, who said they couldn’t refund me. I’d never been so disgusted with a hotel that I was willing to lose the money and stay elsewhere. I booked a non-smoking room, but after I arrived past check-in time, I waited several minutes with another guest who couldn’t get in before anyone came to the desk. They then said no non-smoking rooms were available and offered to show me a smoking room. The elevator sounded like it could break at any moment. There are plenty of other terrible hotels in the area, and I’m sure they’d be better.

We got there around 8:45 p.m. and the person called the receptionist was outside smoking and drinking with a couple of people. During check-in, several more people came in, and they looked like they might be beggars or homeless. In the corridor, people were sleeping on the floor, including someone with a dog. There were also people smoking there, and tobacco smell was everywhere. The whole area looked like a junkyard. This place isn’t good for decent people or families, and it doesn’t even have a proper reception. I booked an overnight stay for $87 on the way to Ruby falls, but we cancelled the room and had to book another hotel. I asked Super.com for a refund, but they denied it and asked me to get a letter from the hotel. The receptionist wouldn’t do that, so I lost the money. I don’t know how this nasty place got a 2-star rating. Super.com was irresponsible to show it in the search. Please don’t book this hotel.

Chei at the front desk has been helpful since my family and I started staying here. When I first came to find out about the hotel, he was helpful and knew a lot about it.
