Great Smokies Inn Cherokee

We came across this little gem unexpectedly, and the room was spotless, quiet, roomy, and really comfortable. The carpet, bathroom, and bedding were all clean, and the whole property was neat. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance, as is a spot by the water where elk wade. I'd happily stay here again and recommend it to others.

The room was larger and cleaner than I expected, and the place felt quiet and safe. The front desk staff were very friendly. There's a short, easy trail along the river that lets you walk to Oconaluftee Visitor Center of Smoky Mountain. I'll stay here again on another visit to Smoky Mountain.

We only needed a place to sleep for one day during Memorial Weekend, and the basic room was clean with what we needed. The women at check-in were nice, and it stayed quiet enough for us to sleep until 10am. We could sometimes hear an echo from someone talking loudly in the hall, or possibly a neighbor in a joined room, but after 9pm it was quiet. The fridge made a strange hum once we put things in it, though it wasn't much of an issue after a day out. We'd stay again.

The car was parked right outside our room, which made unloading luggage easy. The bed was so comfortable you just sink into it, and I felt safe there. The room was clean, attractive, and everything was in order. It reminds me of a Best Western. I do wish they had free continental breakfast, but I'd definitely stay again.
