Lang House Chicago

Lang House is only two blocks from a Red Line L-stop, and it’s a lovely mix of a B&B and a hotel. Bruce and Wayde make guests feel welcome, with customer service clearly a priority. The house is beautiful, and the rooms are elegant and comfortable. We could relax in the living, dining, reading, and game rooms whenever we wanted, and appreciated being able to use the kitchen outside breakfast hours. Be sure to tour Emil Bach House, the Frank Lloyd Wright home next door. There are also some fun, funky spots in the neighborhood. We especially liked Taste Wine Bar and Peckish Pig brewery and restaurant. My husband and I highly recommend this wonderful B&B!

The area could use better restaurants, but the subway is only two blocks away, so it’s easy to get around anywhere. The rooms are lovely, clean, and spacious, and the kitchen access is much appreciated. The hosts are very helpful. We’d stay again.

Bruce and Wade are fantastic hosts. They make sure you have what you need, while still giving you space, and the service is great. It’s a cozy, welcoming B&B in the Rogers Park area, with a nice range of enjoyable rooms. Highly recommended. P.S. Don’t miss the tour of the house next door!

The building is gorgeous, and the bathrooms had heated floors, which was a big plus. Linda was in charge the weekend we stayed and was amazing. Breakfast was good too, we had quiche from Hoosiers Momma. Good location.
