Hotel Zachary Chicago, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Even though we came when baseball was out of season, there was still plenty to do around Wrigleyville. We could walk everywhere, and the area had lots going on. The hotel was clean and really nice, with a good bagel shop in the lobby and a pleasant bar. The valet crew were friendly and got things done quickly.

I run a hair and makeup agency, working with brides, big events, and Fortune 500 companies, and after 20 years of luxury weddings I had to say something about this staff. They helped carry my whole kit upstairs, then brought the cart back once I was finished. After a 10-hour glam day I’m usually hunting all over for a cart, so that kind of thoughtfulness and initiative really stood out. One of the best teams I’ve come across. A gem.

The staff were warm and professional throughout, and I loved the restaurant and bar. The drinks were some of the best I’ve had in ages, and the cheesecake was incredible. My room at Hotel Zachary was beautifully decorated, spotless, and had more space than I expected for two queen beds. The bathroom was roomy too, and the shower pressure was fantastic. Everything went beyond what I’d hoped for, and I’ll stay here again when I’m back in Chicago.

Being able to step across the street into Wrigley Field is hard to beat, and the views are amazing. I’ve used this hotel twice a year for my employer’s events, and the service keeps me coming back. The front desk, food service, and event staff all provide top-notch, white-glove attention. It’s one of Chicago’s best hotels, and I plan to keep booking it for years.
