Blufin Bungalows & Marina

The bungalow was calm and cozy, and we were comfortable spending a lot of time inside during a chilly, windy weekend. The location is great, and the bed was comfortable, though a little small. If we find a good deal, we’d love to come back next year.

The bungalow was super cute and we had a great time. We booked at the last minute through Expedia, and that part was seamless. After arriving, we relaxed and waited for check-in. When the time came, we had to call the property to ask whether we could check in and how to do it. It took a bit to get sorted, but it was beautiful there, so we didn’t mind relaxing while we waited.

We had the best couples trip at the waterfront bungalows at BluFin Bungalows over Labor Day. The place was clean and comfortable, and the staff were accommodating from start to finish, even when we extended our stay while there. It felt quiet and private despite being close to shopping and restaurants. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone of any age visiting Chincoteague Island. Perfect spot.

We really enjoyed the place, and it was an incredible deal for the price. We came in the off season over New Year’s Eve and stayed through the weekend. The sunset from our room was unbelievable. It’s pet friendly, and contact-free check-in was much appreciated. I was surprised that the kitchen had pots and pans but no salt, pepper, or other cooking basics, since I usually find those when there’s a stove. Maybe I’m spoiled! We also ran out of toilet paper and couldn’t find anyone in the office, so we had to go buy more. I’d expected more than one roll for four people over a weekend, though perhaps that was because we visited in the off season. Even with that, we really enjoyed our stay.
