The resort's views are phenomenal, and both its location and the trails are great. We had a frustrating gap in the room supplies for a four star resort: no bathrobe, coffee machine, or things needed for brushing teeth. The restaurant downstairs was extremely tasty, especially the maple siracha dip.

Meadow’s Edge Floral Design was wonderful to work with. Gayle and her team made gorgeous ceremony and reception arrangements that matched our vision perfectly. At Mountain Top Resort, the Ceremony Knoll and Reception Barn are beautiful Vermont wedding settings, with views and atmosphere that made the day feel magical. The staff were warm and accommodating, and the coordinators kept everything stress-free. Max answered all my many planning questions patiently and promptly. Sydney, our day-of coordinator, was friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond, even arranging last-minute shuttles around the property so everything ran smoothly.

We're on our second night here, and it's been fantastic. There's a private beach on the lake, which is really nice, and the staff have been super friendly and helpful. The views are stunning, with plenty to do, including horseback riding, canoeing, and clay bird shooting. Highly recommend spending time here.

The resort was absolutely fantastic for our wedding weekend, and I highly recommend it as a venue or for a getaway. For what we paid, though, the service at dinner and drinks could have been better. Our room was on the third floor in the block reserved for the wedding party. It had two queen beds and just enough space. The shower was great, but it's the fancy kind that seemed to leave the floor completely soaked. The views were a real highlight: from our room we could see the lake below the hill, and breakfast came with a lovely hillside view at the back of the resort. The service was the iffy part. We went to brunch around 9 on both Saturday and Sunday, with an hour to an hour and a half left before the buffet closed, but more than half the food was gone. There was no more orange juice or fruit, and both mornings the coffee was empty when I arrived. We booked Friday dinner for 5:45 because we needed to be at a welcome party elsewhere on the property by 8. We arrived on time, but didn't see a waitress until about 6:25. I had to speak to the hostess because nobody had welcomed us or taken our drink or food order. The people working the wedding were friendly and helpful. The bar staff felt a little standoffish and unwelcoming, and I felt rushed there. I understand wedding time can be overwhelming, but that part of the service fell short.
