The rooftop, fitness center, pool table, and half-court are nice, and you can walk to games or other big Cincinnati events. The building is near the new convention center, with places to jog nearby, and its position keeps event traffic lower than it is by the Banks. Even at rush hour, the less-used exits are a real help. The apartments are well insulated, though small, and some have great views. Mine was just OK. Downtown parking is a pain, as it is in most places here. Arrange it weeks before moving in or you may be stuck looking for street parking. I’ve seen car windows broken a few times, maybe 2-3 times over about 20 months. Parking is through a third party, since Textile has no garage of its own, and costs $100-$155 a month. The place is fine if you want to live downtown, but it used to be better. Since management changed, they’ve been on a “new system” that’s left charges messed up for far too long, over four months now. The old team helped a lot with my move-in and held more apartment socials. The current team didn’t help with my move-out, though they do make an effort sometimes.

I liked the people I lived alongside, but the building itself has gone downhill. I’d avoid it now. There are plenty of Cincinnati apartments doing a better job than Textile has since 2025. I moved out nearly two months ago and am still waiting for money that management agrees was wrongly charged. A $1,350 “Payback of Concession” fee from my first lease was added to the cost of buying out my second lease in a different unit. The free month was part of that first lease, which I completed, so it had nothing to do with the later buyout. It’s now almost February 2026, after this began on November 1, 2025, and I still haven’t received that refund or my security deposit. New staff came in over the holidays, and I briefly heard from someone during the first week of January. Since then, silence. Having thousands of dollars tied up for months, with almost no communication, is beyond frustrating. I’ve lived in some pretty bad “luxury” complexes, but at least they paid what they owed instead of dragging this out. What’s up, Textile? If you’re thinking of signing here, take this as a warning. You never expect it to happen to you until it does. Disgusting. I spent two years in the building and the decline was incredibly frustrating. The leasing office is almost never open, and getting anyone from management to respond is a struggle. I only want to focus on the lack of urgency and communication over money that shouldn’t have been charged in the first place. I enjoyed my stay because of the other tenants, not the building.

I still love the area and would like to renew at Textile someday, but I don’t feel safe committing to a long-term stay if things keep going this way. I signed under certain conditions, including security, and those have been taken away without notice. In the past six months we’ve rarely been told about anything, and I wish they’d at least informed us about changes to guards and cameras. The place used to feel cared for. People cleaned the halls and elevators, Cary and Adam were a great team who looked out for tenants, and there was always security. Now packages get stolen and aren’t locked up, there’s no security around, and the cameras have even been removed. Dog poop is often all over the roof, though they’re finally trying to address that. The community and I have been unhappy with the direction Textile has taken over the past year. I wouldn’t recommend it as it is now. I hope it starts getting better.

We’ve been in the building since it first opened, nearly three years now. The staff we knew have all left, and there’s no longer anyone at the front desk. Adam and Martin were great, and the woman at reception was lovely when we moved in. With the security gone, we’re a bit concerned, and we’re wondering who actually runs the place for its out-of-town owner. We probably won’t renew. We’ll see how moving out goes.

Jacob answered all our questions and was really accommodating. He also got our lease sorted quickly and showed us the apartment over FaceTime. We’re excited to move in this May!
