Maria made it possible for us to check in even though I was driving in from out of state straight after work and worried I wouldn’t make the latest arrival time. My partner and I immediately loved the house’s layout, and the unique decor inside and out made it clear how much care has gone into the place. We stayed in the Jewel Room, where the furniture was clean and comfortable. My partner has intense allergies, but they weren’t triggered once. We also had our own bathroom and living area, plus snacks and drinks in the kitchen. The breakfast Maria made was beyond delicious, and she sat and chatted with us like we were old friends. Afterward, we both agreed she was the most interesting person we’d ever met. I’ve been gushing about the stay to friends and family ever since. A fancy hotel might make you feel pampered, but Gaslight Bed & Breakfast made us feel looked after. I swear I’ll never book a hotel stay in Cincinnati again. If you want a cozy, one of a kind place to stay, give this one a visit. I’m already planning my next trip.

Maria was a wonderful host and cook, and we loved chatting with her. By the time we left, it felt like we were saying goodbye at a family member’s home. We stayed in the Jewel Room and had a whole floor to ourselves. The house had so much character and everything was immaculate. We’ll definitely be back.

Maria, the owner, is personable and around if you need her. Her sconces are to die for! The place is beautifully decorated, clean, and in a nice part of town, within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. I highly recommend staying here.

Maria Crawford made us feel right at home with her warm hospitality and care for the little comforts. We really enjoyed our stay at Gaslight B&B, from the cozy atmosphere to the lovely breakfast and all the thoughtfully chosen amenities. You could tell every detail had been considered to make the visit feel special. We’re already looking forward to coming back.

We spent two nights in the Swiss family Robinson room on the fourth floor. It was quiet, peaceful, very clean, and had everything we needed. Maria was a lovely hostess, and we enjoyed talking with her over the great breakfast. There are free snacks in the kitchen if you want something in the evening. The historic neighborhood is close to many of the things we wanted to do in Cincinnati. We enjoyed our stay and would come back.
