I’ve stayed here at least a dozen times while building a house nearby, and I’d recommend the hotel if you need one in the area. The GM really cares about the guests, and the whole staff seems genuinely committed to making people’s stays great.

This has been my favorite Fairfield Inn stay by far. It’s clean, the service is great, and everything was done really well. You shouldn’t expect the Ritz or a lot of extra frills, but it’s just what you’d want from a Fairfield Inn. Breakfast was warm and ready on time, the rooms were well appointed, and the restrooms were spacious. The front desk team member was very sweet. No complaints from me. I’d highly recommend it if you’re visiting family, going to Helen, or just in the area.

We booked several rooms for a wedding weekend with family and friends, and this worked out perfectly. The hotel is almost brand new, very clean, and well managed. Everyone on staff was friendly and went out of their way to help, including with a couple of unexpected perks. It’s also conveniently located right off a major highway exit. We’ll stay here again on our next visit to northeast Georgia.

My car broke down on a nearby highway in the cold, with nothing close by. My brother drove two hours to get me, took me to the hotel, then headed back home that same night because he had work. I told the staff what had happened, and Riley, such a sweetheart, looked into whether he could fix my car, but didn’t have enough tools. When I asked about taxis or Ubers, they explained they weren’t common around there. The manager offered to take me to my car and bring me back to the hotel herself. Since I couldn’t get food, they brought a gift bag right to my door with nuts, seeds, granola, an egg and cheese muffin, yogurt, another muffin, and Dove chocolates. They also delivered a pizza that night at no charge. The next day, when the garage mechanic brought my car back and needed a ride, the manager even tried to drive him back because she was getting off work and going that way anyway. None of this cost me anything. They also kept my second night at the same rate as the first, even though prices had gone up, since I hadn’t planned for the extra expense. The room was beautifully appointed and extremely clean, with comfortable beds and everything I could ask for. I’d also forgotten my antiperspirant, and they brought me one. Nina, Riley, Brooke, Brittany, and Haley were some of the names I remember. They wouldn’t accept reimbursement, so all I could offer was a personal thank-you letter, my prayers, and a promise to pay it forward, which I’ve already started doing. I’ve never been treated so kindly or generously at a hotel. Go stay here, and tell them Shelly said hello. LOVE❤️
