Quality Inn Atlanta Northlake

We've stayed at Quality Inns all over the US, and a lot of them need plenty of TLC. This is the nicest and cleanest one we've found, with friendly staff. A great place to stay, and we'll come back next time we head south.

The hole in the wall beside the bed made me feel watched and unsafe, so I took a photo and showed it to the GM at the front desk. He said they’d taken down some very large pictures, which left the hole low enough for someone to see what was happening on the bed. I’d only just unpacked and settled in after checking in. I checked out.

I paid for a hotel room and expected a quiet night, but a truck sat running loudly in the parking lot all night. I asked several times if the owner could move it, and staff said I was the only one complaining and the owner was a regular who couldn’t move it. They were completely uncooperative. The customer service was horrible.

We stayed three days, and the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, polite, well groomed, and helpful. The property was quiet, the grounds were kept up with lovely roses, and both the room and bathroom were clean. The room had the usual hotel amenities, all working properly. Breakfast was easy to grab and eat quickly. The location worked well for us, with grocery stores, big department stores, a movie theater, and a dentist within walking distance. Some nice parks and major attractions were a reasonable drive away. The WiFi slowed down and sometimes dropped during peak use. The pool was green, so it seemed like guests hadn’t been able to use it for a while. The website shouldn’t show pictures of a clean, usable pool if it’s unavailable.
