Magnuson Hotel on the Lake Clarksville

I was here for work for several months, and by the time I checked out, the place felt like my sanctuary. The rooms are clean and the staff are super kind. The sunsets are the best. I'd happily come back and highly recommend it.

Check-in was easy, the staff were friendly, and the room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Good value for the money. I'd stay here again.

The hotel is older, but clean, and the rooms are spacious with huge TVs. There's a brewery right next door overlooking the lake, plus shops and restaurants an easy walk away. Breakfast was basic but did the job, with a waffle maker, cereal, toast, yogurt, and a few other things. Everyone working there was friendly.

After a long travel day, I arrived late on August 15th expecting to stay two nights. The first room had hairs in the bed and stained sheets. Front desk staff walked me through several other rooms, and every one was just as dirty. None were clean or remotely acceptable. I slept in my car and never used a room, and the hotel has done nothing to make it right. I travel for business often, and this was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had. Avoid this place at all costs.
