Super 8 by Wyndham Clarksville East

I wouldn't risk booking here. A third party used my card without permission, and the hotel refused to refund the money. I tried to dispute it through my bank, Chime, and Priceline, but had no luck. The hotel says it won't refund third-party bookings canceled for a single day, even when the charge was unauthorized, and uses the first day's rate as the cancellation fee. Problems like this have to go through the general manager, who never seems to be available whenever I've called.

The mattress was like sleeping on the floor with a blanket, with springs poking into me. The outlets also need replacing. Anything plugged in sat halfway out and fell out when I tried to connect something. The outlet behind the bed had just one working socket, and that one wouldn't hold a plug either. The room itself was clean, but the place looked run down when we arrived. At check-in they told me there was a $30 deposit, which hadn't been mentioned on the booking site, and the reservation also said no refunds. I can see why. I wouldn't recommend it.

The front desk staff were really nice, and I was happy with my stay. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel has been newly renovated inside and out. Best Super 8 in this town.

The room looked clean and quite nice when I arrived, but the bed was hard as a rock. I sat down to get ready for bed and felt like I'd sat on the floor. The toilet was so low I thought I was going to fall to the floor. They also want to charge an extra $30 in case you smoke in the room, and that wasn't on the website. I don't recommend staying here, and I won't be back.
