For $68 a night it wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either. I booked through Expedia because the photos looked promising. The convenient location, not far from St Petersburg- Clearwater Intl Arpt. (PIE), was a plus, and the front desk was nice and helped when we needed something. On the second day we reported that the toilet wouldn't flush properly. They said they'd fix it, but never did. The pool was there, though I didn't use it. Breakfast had cereal, sausage, eggs, waffles, fruit, and coffee. In the room, the bed was comfortable and the TV had 80 something channels, plus there was a notepad and wifi, though it didn't really work. The AC was good, and at least there was an ironing board, coffee maker, body wash, moisturizer, shampoo, and soap. But the place smelled like marijuana as soon as I entered, the hallways looked dirty and the floor was sticky. The elevator permit was expired. Our room smelled musty, the door had claw marks, and the hangers were dirty. The toilet, shower, hairdryer, bathroom floor, and rusty-looking microwave were all unpleasant, and the drawers smelled too. There were two coffee bags and about 15 sugar packets. Who needs 7 1/2 in their coffee?

The breakfast is good, and the guests I've met on each visit have all been pleasant. Most of the staff are cordial too. Room quality is a gamble: the newer ones are nicer and smell better, while older ones can smell and have really dirty carpet. The showers are iffy as well, some work okay and some don't. Flip a coin on whether you'll have hot water 😐.

The hot water and A/C worked, and that's about all I can say in the hotel's favor. We were there for five nights during spring break because we couldn't find another hotel. I booked through a third party/Reservation Desk and was told my pet was included in the price, but the hotel charged extra. I asked them to listen to the call and still haven't heard back. We got no room service for all five days, even after asking on two different days. The place was very dirty, with stains everywhere, and not maintained. A door to the outside was taped open and unsecured day and night. Wyndham must not inspect or quality-control the hotels operating under its name. See pics for examples.

The room was spacious, clean, and nice, and the place was quiet. I checked out a day early because my daughter's surgical procedures went well, and the process was simple. The front desk clerk was such a kind lady, her greeting alone was worth 10⭐'s. She wished me and my family well on the way out. Thanks again, and may God multiply blessings in her life. I'd stay again without hesitation.

It was a wonderful stay until the last day. The rooms are large, clean, and comfortable, and there's an excellent hot breakfast. Coffee is free around the clock. Staff, especially managerMaria, are very nice and accommodating. But the male clerk at the desk Saturday Nov. 13 around 7:10pm wouldn't help when I came by three times with trouble using the laundry app. He was leaning on the counter playing with his phone and wouldn't even look at it. He was rude, and told me to get out after I called him lazy for refusing to help. A bad end to an otherwise lovely stay.
