We only stayed because we were visiting family, and I would’ve gladly left after the first night and driven the two hours home. The bed was clean but uncomfortable, and the room had roaches, a leaky sink, and no heat during a cold stay. The refrigerator stayed cool, but never cold, even on its coldest setting. Drawers were jammed shut or left hanging open, and the adjoining door’s lock had been painted over so it couldn’t be used. When I brought that up, the front desk woman said it was safe and nobody was in the room next door that night. The walls were so thin that at 3:00 am we could hear someone snoring in there. Wi-Fi was patchy to nonexistent, and the general signal was poor. We’d prepaid for both nights, so there was no refund. Staying here was the worst decision I’ve made.

The staff seemed annoyed whenever we asked for anything. We had clothes, jewelry, money, and a Bluetooth speaker stolen from our room, and the manager refused to deal with the theft by his staff. Even before that, the place felt overpriced, outdated, and filthy. Our non-smoking room had burn holes in the blankets, carpet, and tub. We had only two towels for four people, and when I asked the front desk for more, they said delivery would take about 45 minutes or I could fetch them from the laundry room. Breakfast was laughable. One morning, the only option was bread for toast.

We should’ve listened to the reviews. We’re pretty laid back, but there was no way we were staying. The place smelled so strong and disgusting, and there were cigarette burns in the bed. They call the rooms non-smoking, but they’ve all been smoked in. I usually take hotel reviews with a grain of salt, but seriously, skip this place. Don’t walk away, run! Watch out for room #207.

We saw over 10 roaches during our four-night stay, and the pool was nasty. There was constant loud noise every night, like people were having a party, and we saw people walking around and doing drugs right in front of us. We asked for another room or our money back, but they wouldn’t give us either. The room was covered in what I guess was black smoke even though we’d requested non-smoking, and paint was chipping off the walls. After we paid cash on arrival, they also asked for a $50 deposit and said it would be returned at checkout. When we left, they argued that we’d never paid it and tried not to give it back. The staff was rude. Probably the worst place I’ve ever stayed.
