FairBridge Inn & Suites Cleburne

The hotel was okay and the room was serviceable, though it could use some maintenance and updating. The woman who checked us in was friendly and helpful. Breakfast is listed as open 6-9, but at 8:30 there was hardly anything left; the desk worker said they don't restock in the last hour. A family with 4 kids came in after us and had almost nothing to eat. Don't show up at 8:30 expecting breakfast.

You get what you pay for. If you need somewhere cheap and quick, and don't mind smoke, it was pretty quiet and the desk people seemed kinda nice. They even worked with us on checking in around 2am during an emergency. The one good thing about the room was that I didn't see bugs or bed bugs. The rest was rough. Our no-smoking room smelled like someone had smoked a 24 pack of cigarettes, and there was a whole black n mild wrapper by the bed. Stains were on the sheets, walls, couch, and shower curtain, and there was hair on the towels. With the door closed, there was a big gap between it and the frame. If you want to relax and enjoy your stay, spend the extra money for somewhere nicer.

The room was clean, though it had a bit of a musty smell. Breakfast was good, and the location was relatively okay. There isn't much around, but it suited my needs. Not a bad hotel.

The room's AC worked great, and the staff were friendly. It's quiet, and the parking lot is well lit. The first night, gnats or fleas bit our ankles until the room cooled down. The room was clean, though I wasn't sure when it had last been cleaned, and it smelled old and dank, like old carpet. The elevator and hallways had no air on, the ice maker wasn't there, and algae made the pool useless.
