We came for a night away and had a really nice stay. The staff were friendly, and our room was clean. We had drinks at the bistro Saturday night and breakfast there Sunday morning. The media pods were a favorite. There was plenty of parking, and shopping and restaurants were close by.

Right before a big snowstorm, we stopped at the Courtyard in Cleveland, TN. Check-in was quick and we got to our room in no time. The King room was clean, with a comfy mattress, a spacious bathroom and nice lighting. I especially like the walk-in showers in newer Courtyard Hotels like this one. Downstairs, the lobby bar and bistro had plenty of people warming up and enjoying themselves before the snow came. The hotel was quiet, and being a block from the highway meant no road noise. By morning the sidewalk was clear, so we could head out. You won’t find a nicer hotel in the area.

The location’s convenient, near everything you might need, and there’s plenty of parking. The hotel was quiet, the staff were friendly, and the rooms were clean. My only issue was the bed, which was really firm and uncomfortable. One night was manageable, but by the end of three nights I was ready to get home.

We keep coming back to Courtyard Marriott, and this hotel was just as good as the others. The front desk clerk was friendly and professional, and the place was clean with nice decor. With my elderly parents along, I requested an accessible room. The taller toilet, wall and shower handrails, and shower seat were exactly what they needed. The room was very clean, the shower pressure was great, and the beds and pillows suited us well. We didn’t try the restaurant, but it looked nice and seemed to have what you might need.

The hotel is nice and recently renovated, but we barely slept. The mattress was awful and so uncomfortable that my wife moved to the sofa around 2:30 in the morning. There was no bedding for the sofa bed, so after 40 years of traveling, I was surprised to be told to come down to the front desk to get it. We got only a couple hours of sleep. There was no complimentary coffee in the lobby, either. I understand charging for lattes and similar drinks, but coffee should be available, especially since Hilton provides it along with breakfast. As a Bonvoy member for many years, this was my worst night’s stay.
