The staff have been incredibly supportive and accommodating while my mom has been in the UH hospital. I’ve stayed at the Courtyard Marriott for four weeks during a very stressful time for our family, and they’ve gone above and beyond with anything we’ve needed. The housekeeping team is amazing. Everything has been spotless, and coming “home” to a clean, comfortable room each night has made a real difference. It’s also been a relief to stay so close and not worry about the little things. Christian at the front desk deserves a special mention. His kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help made a big impact. I highly recommend this hotel, especially if you have a loved one at UH and need a dependable, caring, convenient place to stay.

We needed a night away from some stressful things happening at home, and the Marriott staff gave us a lovely break. Everyone was so nice, and our king room was super clean, really nice, and cozy. I hadn’t slept that well in a long time. Thanks for giving us a chance to take a breather for the night. You guys rock!

The staff, especially housekeeping and the front desk, were really kind, and the room was more spacious than I expected. I was there for a conference, so the location worked well. Valet was the only parking at the hotel; they pointed out a nearby uncovered lot with lower rates. The shower took a VERY long time to get hot, and the water pressure kept cutting in and out. Also, my room window faced straight into the hospital windows next door.

The staff were friendly, and getting downtown was easy enough by Uber. The hotel sits a little outside the middle of everything, which suited us. We were assigned a handicap room, and I can't say whether the other rooms are the same, but there was no bathroom exhaust fan. Twice, steam from our showers set off the smoke alarm, including once around midnight after we returned from an event. I felt bad and hoped the neighbors hadn't heard it.

We hadn't needed to stay for a year, but the staff still recognized us. They're so friendly and kind. This is the best place to stay when you have early appointments at university hospital!
