Hilton Garden Inn Cleveland Airport

Dinner was good, with a strip steak or a tasty ribeye special, usually at the same price, plus herbed butter, garlic red-skin mashed potatoes, and mixed summer squash. The wine, cocktail, and beer selection is small but good. There's also a shuttle, breakfast and dinner available, and a little shop for snacks, drinks, and incidentals. Breakfast isn't included in the room price. The lobby has been upgraded, and the place is nice, though I miss how close the Sheraton, RIP, felt. The rooms are fairly clean, but dust has built up on the headboards and plastic light covers, and the bathroom tile needs a deep clean. Odd-numbered rooms face the wooded back lot and get less extra light. The shades in front-facing rooms let in a lot of light from the parking lot, so bring duct tape or blue painter's tape to block some of it. A few things need attention, but you can't go wrong here.

I spent around $25,000 with Hilton last year, have been a Diamond member since 2020, and this is the worst stay I've had at a Hilton branded hotel. The first three nights were fine, but on the second-to-last night a neighbor started talking on speakerphone at 12:30 a.m. and kept me awake until 2. I called the desk several times and nothing changed. The staff said the neighbor's attitude was that they'd paid for the room and could do what they wanted, and that people can be loud and they couldn't ask them not to talk. I couldn't believe it. If I need to talk late at night, I whisper or go outside because I think about the people trying to sleep nearby. The next morning the manager apologized and was helpful, and told me to call again if it happened that night. It did, this time with three women talking loudly enough to boom through their door and into the hall. The desk again said they couldn't do anything. I was shocked they wouldn't enforce quiet hours. This has changed how I feel about staying with Hilton. Never again.

The staff worked together so smoothly, and the housekeepers seemed in sync with everyone. That kind of care matters when you're away from home so much, and it's what brings guests and business back. My coworker and I stayed two nights and used the meeting room all day Saturday 3.28.26. Kevin in banquets checked on us several times and made sure we had everything for the meeting. The front desk team was wonderful too. I didn't catch everyone's name, but Sabrina and Brandon, who helped us Friday early afternoon, were so helpful. David in maintenance helped me look for a shipped package, and Martha in the restaurant area was lovely to chat with. The hotel driver was kind, friendly, and helpful as well. Hats off to the team. Thanks, and we'll be back.

I was nervous after reading some reviews, but my stay has been great and I don't know why the bad ones. The staff have been extremely nice, my room's been very clean, and breakfast was delicious. I stay at a lot of Hilton Garden Inns as a Gold member, and this is one of the best I've visited. Highly recommend.
