We chose this place because it cost less than others nearby. We should have spent the extra $30. The bed was very hard, and although the bedding seemed clean, it smelled extremely musty. Getting into the room was a struggle from the start. There was no handicapped access to the office, and staff couldn't find our booking even though we'd paid ahead and provided the confirmation number. They kept saying we had no room. I was in pain and urgently needed a restroom, but they wouldn't let me use one and said I had to pay for a room. After I gave my name and Priceline confirmation number again, they finally found the reservation. The room was completely bare, with no toilet paper. I spotted spiders crawling across the floor and up the wall, then drove back to the office to ask for paper. They said it was part of a $15 extra package, though the man gave it to me that one time. Sitting in the bathroom, I remember thinking it looked like somewhere serial killers take their victims. We definitely know better for next time.

The building was dirty, and I probably won't stay again, even though the staff were polite and the customer service was okay. We had no extra toilet paper, and the first room smelled so strongly of cigarettes that I wouldn't have put anyone in it. That felt inconsiderate and like poor service. The key didn't work for that room, thankfully, so we got another one, and it smelled fresh. The location's in the heights.

We were given one king bed even though I'd reserved a room with two beds. The staff were rude and insisted their paperwork showed that's what I wanted. The room was dirty, there was no bathmat, and the refrigerator was iced up. Never again.

It was clean and had a fairly new coat of paint, but it's still a 1950s motel with nothing special about it. I only needed a place for one night, and it did the job.

For the low price, I might consider coming back if it stays competitive, though I'll look around Cleveland next time. The bed was reasonably comfortable and clean, the area was convenient, and cable brought plenty of channels. You had to change channels with the TV's buttons because there was no remote. A lot of things didn't work well: the bathroom window was broken, the sink had no cold water, the shower only dribbled a few drops at a time, and the toilet took several minutes to refill before another flush. It even had a fake-looking 'water efficient' sticker printed and stuck on it. One outlet worked only when the lights were on. The cheap rate earns it three stars from me, but realistically this is a one-star hotel. It was... something.
