Fairfield Inn & Suites Monaca

I travel here for work and stay at this clean, well-kept property every time. The whole team is friendly and professional, but Mikey and Monique deserve a special mention. They check in proactively, help with even small requests, and consistently go above and beyond to make each stay feel perfect. It’s clear they take pride in their work and making sure guests are looked after.

I came for a funeral with my 7-year-old and picked a motel with a pool after looking online. The pool was green and cold. The woman at the desk said it wasn’t heated, only the room was. Our room was freezing, so they moved us, but the new one was cold too and took two hours to reach 69. I asked for a refund so we could go somewhere else, but she said she couldn’t do anything until I spoke to the manager the next day. He understood, apologized, and said he’d address it. It also took us a long time to order food, and when it finally arrived from Domino’s, it was horrible. There’s no information in the rooms about nearby restaurants that deliver, so it’s hard to figure out where to order if you don’t know the area. I was disappointed.

The pool was murky enough that we couldn’t see the bottom of a four-foot pool, so we didn’t get in, and it wasn’t heated. In the room, the comforters were stained and the bedding didn’t hold them in place. There was mold and rust on the shower fixtures and floor. The place needs better upkeep, and I wouldn’t stay again.

Breakfast was absolutely BUSSIN, especially the waffles and eggs. We had a wonderful stay with the family last night: my sister and I had an adjoining room with our parents, which was nice. The sheets and towels smelled really fresh, clearly thanks to ecolab soft plus and other chemicals. The staff were so kind, and one showed me the laundry room because I’m interested in industrial laundry. The pool and guest laundry looked nice too. We’ll stay again whenever we’re back in town.
