The breakfast was the usual watery eggs, sausage patties, and waffle mix. It met expectations, though I wish it had been better given the rest of the stay. This is probably the nicest Hampton Inn I've stayed at in decades. The room was roomy and clean, with a great bed and blankets. Heavy doors kept hallway noise out, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great, with gas and coffee across the street. There was a little automatic nightlight in the bathroom, a big shower, and board fames and puzzles to do.

The Halloween decorations looked wonderful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast bar was awesome, with a great selection, though I'd suggest adding bacon. It was an extremely comfortable stay, and I'll come back when traveling to NC or SC.

A decent place for the night: the staff were amazing, breakfast was good, the showers were hot, the bed was comfortable, and it was quiet. I took off a star for the dated appearance and need for maintenance. A little more investment could make a big difference. The toilet makes a big clunk and shifts when you sit down, and the shower grout needs redoing at a minimum. The place is clean overall, but those issues made it feel like a cheap motel.

The lobby smelled great, and the staff and room were just as impressive. We travel often, and this was one of the cleanest hotels we’ve stayed in. My wife and I would absolutely recommend it.

Breakfast had plenty of choices for kids and was great. We got in shortly before 11 pm after a long stretch of night driving, and the woman at the front desk was really kind and accommodating. The room was comfortable and clean. I’d worried about hearing other guests, but with the A/C running and after such a tiring drive, I slept like a baby. No complaints at all.
