My door wouldn’t lock, so the key card was useless and anyone could open it from outside. When I told the front desk, she just said, “yeah.” The room was gross, and the shower drain was backed up so badly that the water came past my ankles, turning the shower into a bath. While I was checking out, I watched room service “clean” it. A lady with a shopping cart took my wet towels and made the bed with the same sheets. There was no cleaning involved. I had to barricade the door. I should have read the reviews. Don’t stay here. I would never recommend or come back, no matter the price.

The price was good, the beds were comfy, and the water was hot. The staff were amazing. I’d be happy to stay again when I’m in the area.

I was only there a short time and asked for no service. They honored that, and the recliner was very comfortable. There’s no continental breakfast, but plenty of restaurants are within a mile or two. A train runs nearby and blares its horn. That’s nothing against the motel, just be aware you’ll hear it anywhere on the south side of town, especially on Mabry road.

Calling to book was fine, but the process was more involved than at other motels. I checked three times that the place was in Muleshoe, where we needed to stay, and the operator confirmed it each time. The non-refundable room turned out to be in Clovis instead, which meant a 45-minute backtrack the next morning. When I called to explain the problem, they were no help at all.
