The outside paint at the Clute Motel 6 looks faded, but the room inside was spotless and in top shape. Housekeeping brought fresh towels each morning, and there’s a well-kept pool with restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Lake Jackson and Surfside are close, too. We stay at Motel 6 when we travel with our dog since she can stay free, and this one’s been the best of the different locations we’ve tried. The price is great. We’ll be back soon.

It’s so quiet here, and I feel safe and comfortable. The staff and owners are really nice, and they mostly leave you to yourself. They bring fresh daily supplies, and there’s an ice machine. It’s pet friendly and, in my opinion, the best deal for the price. One of the least hassle-filled stays I’ve had lately.

After driving all day from New York, I waited over an hour and a half just to get a room. As soon as I switched on the light, four roaches scattered. One fell on my foot in the bathroom, and another was on the table when I came out. Luckily my bags were still outside. I asked for my money back, and they offered a different room instead. There was a dead roach right in the middle of that room’s floor when I opened the door. I went back to the office and got my money back. Worst hotel ever!

The staff are friendly, and there are lots of cameras, which makes me feel safer. Rooms are a great price, and I’ve had no problems. Love this place.

My girlfriend and I just wanted a room to get away, but we ended up with the floor covered in cockroaches. They weren’t bothered by the lights or TV, and seemed to get worse after the lights went out. I fell asleep, but my girlfriend stayed on guard after seeing them everywhere. This place has never been the best, but it’s hit a new low. Definitely not the business.
