We found a roach on the side of the bed as soon as we entered, then another when we checked the sheets. The walls were covered in crayon marks, the room smelled of smoke, the sheets were stained, and there was a hole in the bathroom wall. People were yelling outside, too. We lasted 20 minutes, just long enough to book another hotel, then got out with our family. I asked the desk for an immediate refund, but the only answer was to call the number I’d booked through, which was their number. I gave up and checked out. That was a $90 loss, but I wasn’t going to have my family sleep there. Do not stay here.

Breakfast was a mess. We arrived at the posted 6 am opening, but the manager was still setting up and asked us to wait 10 minutes. We had to leave at 6:30 am for a shuttle, and there was no coffee or orange juice because, he said, the machines were broken. There were no knives for cutting waffles or spreading butter and jam, and we saw two cockroaches in the serving area. The room had a musty smell when we arrived. The friendly manager showed me another room, but we didn’t want a double bed, so he sprayed our room and put a scented pad on the AC. The shower bar had been damaged and replaced with a bent one, leaving the curtain sagging in the middle and water on the floor. There were holes in the wall and dried paint on the floor from sloppy painting. The desk chair was broken, so I called the front desk on my phone because the room phone was disconnected and asked for a replacement. He said there weren’t any. I asked to borrow a dining chair until morning; he wasn’t sure he could get one, though I’d seen them at check-in. About 10 minutes later, he brought one.

The elevator wasn’t working, but aside from that, it was nice and worth the price compared with other hotels. I stayed two nights and was amazed by the renovations. Once you’re in the room, you almost forget what part of town you’re in, lol. Kp at the front desk was helpful and friendly, and I’d stay again. I also love the liquid Dove soap they provide in all the bathrooms.

The woman at the front desk was the one good part of this stay, a 5/5. The rest of the property was a negative 5. There was garbage around the grounds, and the walkway smelled of weed, urine, and feces. The room needed proper repairs, not just maintenance or a manager’s attention. The place felt unsafe and unsanitary, so I had to get a refund. I’d never stay here again. It makes me ashamed to be a Wyndham card holder.
