Days Inn by Wyndham College Park

I left about an hour after checking in, even though I’d paid the $120, because they weren’t addressing my concern. My room faced the street and was noisy, so I asked to switch rooms. The front desk said there was no housekeeper to clean one, but I could see three housekeepers nearby. The indifference and the claim about housekeeping felt unacceptable. They got my money for that night, but lost my future business.

The location is convenient, with other businesses nearby, but I think the hotel needs renovations. My room was nice, and the towels were clean. The TV and microwave were small, and you’ll need to bring your own soap if you don’t like the soap smell. I think the price should be $70-75 a night.

The front desk lady was nice, but this hotel needs a major overhaul. I paid $90 for a place that should have cost $60 at most. The room smelled moldy and smoky, the blankets were scratchy, and breakfast choices were limited. The juice even had floaters in it. My room was beside the road, with motorcycles, sirens, and heavy trucks going by all night.

The price was fair and the staff were nice, but the rooms need major maintenance. The wallpaper was dirty and peeling, the shower barely worked, the door was in rough shape, and the sink was pulling away from the counter. The vents were rusty, too. I ended up getting a power strip because plugs kept falling out of the old, worn wall outlets. The carpet also felt waxy.
