Wingate by Wyndham College Station South

Breakfast had a good spread: biscuits, sausage, gravy, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, pastries, yogurt, and fresh strawberries and blueberries. My wife enjoyed her big Texas shaped waffle too. Our king room had a couch in a semi separate area that would've worked well for our son, and both the room and spotless bathroom were in great shape. The hotel was clean and updated, with no room issues. We only stayed overnight, so we didn't use the pool or workout room, though both looked well kept. It was a great visit and our new go to in College Station.

The room was great, the bed gets a 10 out of 10, and there was a full channel selection on a big TV. Coffee was available around the clock, too. Thomas got me checked in at 5 am after travel delays, and the staff were incredible. They treated my Frenchie like family.

I'd absolutely stay here again, and I just wish there were a door leading to the back parking lot. The hotel looks simple, but it suited us perfectly. The lobby is small, with limited couch seating, though there's a dining area where you can sit. Our room was huge, with a king bed plus a separate area with a couch, coffee table, and work desk. It also had a dresser, closet, sink, microwave, and mini fridge. The bathroom was roomy with lots of counter space, and the soft, comfortable linens were a nice surprise. Breakfast is basic: bacon, eggs, pancakes, yogurt, bagels, toast, juice, coffee, and tea. I only wish there were light switches by the door. They're at the fixtures, so you have to walk over in the dark to turn them on.

I stayed here for three weeks and had a great room. Katie and the rest of the staff were friendly, helpful, accommodating, and courteous throughout. Breakfast was served every morning and was great. The woman who kept it stocked was especially helpful and kept the area clean and working well. Thanks for the hospitality.
