Hilton Garden Inn College Station

The room was fine, and the service was okay. Breakfast wasn’t included in the rate, and nearly $60 for a family of four is ridiculous. In my opinion, what they served didn’t warrant that price.

I travel for contract work, and this hotel deserves five stars. The rooms were clean, the beds were nice, the bartender was great, and the food was good. The breakfast was hands down the best I’ve ever had at a hotel. The front desk staff were helpful, and the facilities were all great.

The shower had strong pressure and plenty of heat, and the TV was easy to use. The remote was a little wonky but still useful, and streaming included HBO Pluto and tubie. There was mold in the ceiling corners. Still, this was the best Hilton property on our trip, and I’ll stay again.

Check your bill before leaving. I was charged $70 for a meal I didn’t eat: $50 for food, $20 gratuity, plus tax. When I called to dispute it, staff insisted I’d eaten the food and said they had video. I’m sure there’s no video of me eating at the hotel restaurant. The general manager told me, “I don’t have to share anything with you” when I asked to see it. Don’t trust the staff.
