Motel 6 College Station, TX - Bryan

The room has been left uncleaned for a week, and after asking for three days we were still told it would be done tomorrow. I went to the front office around noon, but instead of sorting it out, they blamed me and said I should learn Spanish because the maids didn’t know any English. Apparently it’s the paying guest’s fault the hotel hired people who can’t speak English. The maids live on site, but when I got back from work the room was still dirty. The staff were horrible and disrespectful.

I was checked in for just 12 minutes. The room was dirty and the bed was painful, so I told the front desk it wasn’t up to standard. He said I could leave the keys and ask for a refund, which I did. Now the hotel won’t give my money back. Terrible experience.

There were roaches all over the room, on the TV, walls and just about every surface. I went straight to the office to ask for a refund and was told to return the next day. When I did, they told me the same thing. By then I was back home and no longer traveling, so I called. The front desk worker yelled that roaches are natural, said they can’t do refunds and I’d have to catch the manager. After arguing with me, he hung up when I asked for his name. Customer service was unbelievably rude.

The employees were rude and showed little respect. My first room was filthy and the door had no latch to lock it. I’d driven five hours and only needed a room for one night, so after they refused a refund I accepted another room that looked presentable. Then I pulled back the sheets and found bugs crawling. Instead of apologizing, they told me I could never stay at another Motel 6 and asked me to leave. Close this place down, or hire someone who treats people with consideration.
