I woke up hungry, and there was no actual breakfast. At best, they had a few morning drinks and snacks: orange juice, apple juice, coffee, granola bars, and oatmeal. They call it grab and go, but meager snacks aren’t breakfast. I even brought peanuts from home, so I guess those are the new breakfast. I’m annoyed and cranky. They advertise breakfast, but there isn’t one. I’ve never been to a Days Inn that said it offered breakfast and then had this sad little display. I’m not expecting five-star service, but this feels misleading, and many states might consider it false advertising. Wyndham should look into it. Why advertise something you don’t have? Guests shouldn’t have to dig through reviews because the hotel wants to promote something it doesn’t provide. They acted like they were doing us a favor by explaining it was grab and go. The internet doesn’t work. The rooms are fine, run down, but a room is a room. The fridge and microwave are in the bathroom vanity area, which is kind of gross when there’s plenty of room to put them elsewhere. I’m disappointed by the misleading breakfast advertising. This is a weird way to do business.
