Breakfast was the best part, with eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, pastries, toast, bagels, muffins, and good coffee. The shower was hot, towels were soft, and the room had a microwave and fridge. The price felt fair, especially since the property is a bit dated and could use some updates. The mattress was the main downside: very soft foam, and we prefer a firm bed. If you like sinking into a mattress, it may suit you. There was also a musty smell when we first entered, though we got used to it after a couple of minutes.

The staff were very nice, and they let me get coffee in the lobby because the coffee maker in my room was disgusting. The room itself smelled strongly of mildew and wasn't clean. There were holes in the carpet, the bathroom mirror light was out, and the PTAC was dusty. I wouldn't stay at this property again.

I chose this hotel for its location and would gladly come back. The fitness room was one of the best maintained I've seen in a while, and breakfast was nice and hot each morning I was there. My room was clean, with no maintenance issues, and the staff were friendly. The whole place seemed well cared for.

The employees were kind, and that’s why we didn't go find another hotel. Parking was plentiful, it was easy to locate, and we saved a little compared with staying in St. Louis proper. Breakfast was basic and free. Getting into our first room was a mess. The third-floor keys didn't work, and neither did the replacements. An employee came up with a master key, but that wouldn't open the door either. They apologized and moved us to a ground-floor room. After hauling our things downstairs, we found it was 49 degrees inside. It was 18 outside, and everyone was tired and now freezing.

My room was immaculate, and Darren took care of all my needs. He restored my faith in Marriott hotels, and without him I wouldn't be coming back. Thank you, Darren, for working so hard and for your good manners.
