Extended Stay America Suites Colonial Heights Fort Lee

The bathrooms have been nasty every time I’ve stayed at ESA. I’ve been to other ESA properties that were much cleaner. The bed frame head looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in a while, and the lamp by the bed was nasty too. I’ve had to bring cleaning products with me. I’d like them to monitor the staff and double check the cleaning. I tried to switch rooms, but they’re always full. A place can be old and still be fine for the price if it’s clean. If the cleaning doesn’t change, I won’t stay here on business trips. The quality isn’t worth it.

Y’all, Demetrius was the GOAT and helped me out with a vape charger! All the girls at the front desk looked out for me too. The staff are the whole hotel vibe. “Extended stay” should be called “Extended Family”! The bed was so soft and cozy, best mattress, Bible! The room was clean, the towels were good, and the shower pressure was good too. I’m OCD and it was clean all around.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean, but the floor was sticky and dirty when I wiped it with a rag. You could see something smeared there. At over $100 a night, they should at least serve eggs and sausage for breakfast. That breakfast bar is a slap in the mouth. I can get a better breakfast at a gas station register.

We stayed here on my wife’s birthday, 9/27, and the location was great. The staff were so nice, and my wife said it was the best night’s sleep she’d had in years. We meant to check the mattress name but forgot. Later that day I called and spoke to Dimitris. He was checking in a guest, but asked me to call back and said he’d find the mattress name for me. He took the time to do it. Thanks, Dimitris, for going above and beyond. You’re what makes a company great. All the best, Farrell
