The staff were friendly, and having a gas station right across the way was handy. But the room was in awful shape. I’ve stayed here a few times over the past ten years, and each visit has been worse. This time may be my last. I only need somewhere to sleep and keep my things, but the room was literally falling apart, and changing rooms wasn’t an option. There were brown stains on the pillows, and the mattress was completely flat, like a springless futon. It should’ve been replaced years ago. The shower rod was coming away from the wall, so the curtain slid inward and water ended up all over the floor. Three of the six lights were out, and the AC moved air around but never cooled the room. At least I didn’t find bed bugs. I’d like to see them maintain the property, since the location is convenient when I’m in town, but after years of decline I’m not expecting it.

The room itself was okay for the price. We were in 107, the beds were good, and the bathroom was clean. The staff were nice when we arrived, too. But the building had a really strong smell of Indian food, and I didn’t feel the place was clean overall. The TV in our room didn’t work, which mattered because my autistic daughter likes watching her shows when we travel. She understood and, thankfully, didn’t get upset. Breakfast had no real choices, just waffles and muffins, and my daughter was disappointed, so we went to Dunkin’ instead. We booked at the last minute after driving from Long Island. I wouldn’t stay again, especially with my daughter. I’m glad she didn’t ask to use the pool. I wouldn’t recommend this as a family hotel. I heard there’s a better one about a mile away.

The staff were friendly, and it was a pretty quiet night. We only stayed one night and didn’t need many amenities. The kids were happy to make waffles at breakfast, though we’d hoped for more continental options. My husband thought the TV could be bigger and more up to date. There’s no elevator, but the hotel is only two floors and the staircase is wide, open, and not steep, so it wasn’t a problem for us. It wasn’t the easiest place to spot from the main road, and the hotel could use some upgrades, but we’d likely stay again if we came back to the area.

After a full day driving our 35-foot RV, we needed a last-minute place to stop. We were too late to find a campground, and we don’t sleep well at truck stops. The staff welcomed us and let us park the RV and car under the security lights. They even gave us a room with a view of our “home on wheels,” which helped Grumpy feel better. The room was very clean, and we had a peaceful night. Thank you!
