As a conference attendee, I found the rooms freezing for all three days, and staff wouldn’t do anything to help. We wore coats and blankets. Coffee ran out several times, and we were told the hotel charged $80 per gallon. They wouldn’t refill the hot water, and it seemed we almost never had both tea bags and hot water at once. Cup lids didn’t fit, either. Any request for help brought complaints about how hard the job was. We felt charged for every little thing, with no effort to accommodate us. The bar food and drinks were good, and the space was comfortable and classy, but we left feeling like suckers. As hotel guests, we paid $60 extra for a suite with more space. The layout and amenities were nice, but it only had one bed and a very thin foldout couch bed, so we brought in our own air mattress and slept on the floor. Breakfast cost $20 extra and was a good meal, but it was still a hotel continental breakfast and not worth that price per person. They also wouldn’t let us check out late, even though the conference ran past the usual checkout time.

We felt safe and woke up with peace of mind. The rooms were clean, the staff were nice, and service was fast. I also enjoyed the bar: good-tasting drinks and nice food. So far, it’s a great place to stay in Colorado.

I’ve been here for work about every other week over the last six months. I’d let the wood rot in the bathrooms and stains on the curtains and lamps slide. I was annoyed when room service forgot me for an hour, but didn’t leave a bad review over it. The lobby looks pretty after the money they put into it, but the rest isn’t much to write home about. What pushed me to review was the $10-a-day parking fee they sprang on guests. I’ve never seen the lot full, and it wasn’t mentioned in my usual booking. I found out when the concierge asked for the card I keep on file and my license plate number, which I had to go back outside to check because most people don’t memorize rental plates. I’d opted for an upgrade if available. I got one, but for another $15 a night it was on the fourth floor, not even the top, and had no balcony. Not worth it, just a rip-off. Now respond with an AI-generated message about “Genuine” concern. I’ll find somewhere else after this visit. Good luck. Edit: I’m raising the rating to three stars because they left me a plate of fruit and cheese as a human gesture.

The location is great and parking was good. The hotel is clean and very well kept, and the pool and hot tub were really nice, though one day the hot tub wasn’t hot at all. Breakfast was very good, if a little pricey, and the breakfast staff were good too. The cleaning lady spoke no English, so I couldn’t ask her for more toilet paper.

Even after checking in a lot of military guests, Rita was still smiling when it was my turn. She handled everything efficiently and answered all my questions. She seemed to be the only employee there, but kept things running smoothly. I only wish the rooms were more updated. Rita deserves recognition for how kind and helpful she was, especially when I checked in the night before Thanksgiving.
